Jawa Bobber 42 Vs Perak Key Differences
The overall design of the 42 Bobber looks similar to the Jawa Perak, there are some cosmetic changes or external changes, that is the repositioning of the tail light, the all-new seats, and a wide handlebar. The 42 Bobber gets the full LED headlamp setup along with the LED indicators which gives a premium look. The suspension setup of the Jawa 42 Bobber is also quite similar to the Perak as well, it has a telescopic hydraulic fork in the front and a seven-step adjustable Monoshock in the rear.
The changes to the Jawa 42 Bobber in comparison to the Jawa Perak. The first one will be the speedometer, 42 Bobber has a fully digital speedometer and in comparison with the Perak has an old-school analogue plus digital speedometer. The Bobber 42 has a wide handlebar which in comparison to the Perak is wider. Perak has a bit of a compact handlebar I would say and this is wide and gives you a really commanding posture while riding this motorcycle. The Jawa Bobber 42 has a totally different seat. You can see the design as well. The seat is a bit lifted from the back and now it has really good cushioning. The next change will be the tail light, the tail light on the Bobbar 42 has been repositioned from under the seat to the rear fender. Apart from that, the exhaust is also different from the Perak, you can see there is a silver tip on this exhaust which gives it a much better look and the Perak has a slash-cut all-black exhaust. The engine of the Bobber 42 is quite similar to the Jawa Perak. The 42 bobbar has a 334 CC single-cylinder liquid cool engine that produces 30 PS of power and 32 NM of torque with a 6-speed gearbox. The seat height of Bobbar 42 is 750 mm and the revised cushioning of the seat will give you a really Good Feeling for long rides, and the Bobber 42 will be a really good option for short Riders. The Jawa Bobbar 42 has a 145 mm ground clearance for this which can be an issue if you know potholes or speed Breakers. The Jawa Bobbar’s overall weight is 175 kg which makes it lighter than the Royal Enfield. Talking about the Bobber 42 mileage, Bobbar 42 has 12.5 litres of fuel tank which in comparison to the Perak is smaller in capacity Perak has 14 litres, you can expect an average mileage of 30 to 35 kilometres per litre from the Bobber 42. The braking compartment of this new Jawa Bobbar 42 has been handled by the Bible braking, in front, it has 280 mm discs in the rear 240 mm discs now this unit comes equipped with Dual Channel ABS. Apart from that, you can see this is the wide handlebar that will be giving you a much more commanding posture while riding this motorcycle.
Jawa Bobber 42 Vs Perak Price Which one Should you buy?
The Jawa Bobbar 42 price starts from 2.06 lakh rupees ex-showroom and goes up to 2.09 lakh rupees ex-showroom. Jawa Bobber 42 is cheaper than the Jawa Perak for two or three thousand rupees. In terms of colour the Jawa bobber 42 we have three colour schemes available which are Jasper Red, Moonstone White and Mystic Copper, whereas the Perak comes with only single-tone colours. The benefit that the bobber 42 has over the Perak, is the bobbar 42 has new colour schemes plus it is more attractive than the Java Perak. so it is totally up to you if you are into the Bobber motorcycles you can opt for the Bobbar 42 or if you love the dark colour motorcycle then you can also go for the Perak because the engine-wise mechanically both motorcycles remain the same.
